I always wanted to be the one to make you smile, even if indirectly, the way to do that was to find another body...another soul...that made you smile the way you always did, and bring you together. And even though it wasn't necessarily me, you were smiling; and that's all that TRULY ever mattered. But then again, they never worked out.
And over the course of this past year, things just had to get complicated. Getting to know you and how you think. Your faith. Your love. Oh, the love that you have to give. And I just had to "realize" certain things.

I saw something that I've never seen happen in real life. Just on television and in the movies.

Setting: Wal-Mart

I'm walking along and a man passes me.
(Man taps woman's shoulder)
Man: Excuse me miss?!
(Goes in front of woman)
Man: Hi, I'm Robert, and I was wondering if you would let me take you out to dinner or coffee sometime.
Woman: Oh, I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend.
Man: Oh, it's alright.
Woman (in a surprised, yet happy tone): That took great effort though! But yea.
Man: It's okay....

I smiled, because I've never seen a stranger go up to another stranger and ask them out. It was quite nice to see it for real, instead of in a movie like Serendipity or Meet Joe Black...
